Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important of which are the following
Antenna damage ,trays damage, clutch damage, gearbox damage, damage to car lock,door handle damage,door sill damage, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers damage, glass damage, mirrors damage,wheels damage, tires damage,interior of the car damage,spare key and car jack,hubcap, lights,gas cap ,warning triangles, damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof,damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in a car, underside damage,personal belongings in a rented car,damage due to negligence,tyre punctures and burst tyres,water submersion or salt-water damage,hail damage,fuel errors,damage to child seats and baby seats,lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices,damage or loss of car documents,damage or loss of registration plate,damage or theft of car logo
The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance.
The total cost of the rental is payable at the time of delivery of the car. The shortest rental period is 24 hours and each additional hour up to 1 hour will be charged at 1/3 of the rate applied. Any fraction is excess of 1 hours will be computed as full day. Payments can be done by VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX or in CASH. Deposit is required and it is given back at the end of the rental period.
Accident /Breakdown/Theft/Traffic Offence
The rental vehicle must never be removed from the place of accident until police report has been completed and CCH TURIZM SEY. ORG. LTD. ŞTİ (below referred as the car rental company) has been notified.
In case of any accident involving your rental car, you must immediately contact the nearest police station and obtain an accident report. The report should clearly state if you were driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you do not report the accident to the police and comply with the requirements under the country's law, the insurance may become invalid. It is mandatory that you also report any accident or damage to the car rental company.
In case of other damages to the rental car, the above procedure should also be followed. If the vehicle is damaged while parked you have to report the damage to the car rental company before the car is moved. In case of theft, it is mandatory that you immediately inform the car rental company, fil a police report and then give a copy of this document to the car rental company.
Car documents and keys must be handed to the car rental company. In general, the client must IMMEDIATELY report all damages to the car rental company. Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.
For every traffic offence Circular/We have to process, an administration charge will apply. An administration charge is necessary to cover the time and cost of us, as a business in processing incoming your fine(s) on your behalf. Once we receive your traffic fine notification, we have to investigate each offence, match it to the relevant hirer, pay the appropriate authority within the statutory deadline and then invoice you / the customer / driver accordingly, to ensure no delays. Circular / We charge 20 TL +TAX for each traffic offence.
All our cars are equipped with OGS/HGS tags so that our customers do not bother themselves to buy those tags to drive through toll roads. Our customers who use toll ways are charged as many times as they use toll roads during rental period (18% TAX is not included). We also charge our customers an administrative fee of 15 TL (18% TAX is not included).
Driving Age and Driver License Requirements
The minimum driver age required is 21. For groups ECMR-ECMD-ECAR-CDMR-CDMD-CDAR-IDMD minimum age requirement is 21 with at least two years of valid driving license. For groups SDMR-SDMD-SDAR-SDMD-IDAR-IDAD-CWMR-CWMD and IWMR 23 years of minimum age with 2 years of valid driving license is required. For groups FDMR-FDAR-FDMD-FDAD-CPAR-CWMD+2, 25 years of minimum age with 2 years of valid driving license is required. For groups SVMD-SWMD-LDAR 3 years of driving license and 28 years of age are the minimum requirements.
The maximum driver age is 75.
Driving license must be held for at least 2 years. UK license holders need to present the photo card and the paper counterpart. Young driver surcharges applicable for driver age from 19-21 inclusive: 5.00 EUR per day plus Tax
When collecting the car, the principal driver & any additional drivers will need to provide a full driving license on their name.
A valid passport (or ID card, if it is written in roman characters and only for EU countries), air-tickets may be required.
In some cases, if driving license is printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) an international driving license is required.
Please note: an international driving license / permit does not replace the requirement for a regular driving license. If using an international license / permit, a full driving license in the principal drivers name will still be mandatory in order to rent the vehicle.
Your rental with MARTI Cars normally will include collision damage & theft protection waivers. Collision Damage Waiver will waive your liability to pay for any damage caused to the vehicle during the period of rental.
Theft Waiver provides coverage for the theft or damage resulting from attempted theft of the vehicle, its parts and accessories up to their full value and any loss that our car rental company may occur. Both are subject to certain exclusions. Your liability is waived subject to you paying a charge, referred to as an excess which limits your liability to the cost of the excess only. In the event that the renter has behaved recklessly or negligently or driven under the influence of drugs or alcohol you may be liable for the full cost damage. Please note that in our rental company policy there are exceptions to cover which may include windscreens, tires, the underside or interior of the vehicle, towing charges & replacement keys. Please check your agreement fully at the time of renting for exact exclusions. Please note a number of options may be available to buy locally, which reduce your risk or can provide further cover to you and your belongings.
Primary Driver Credit Card Preauthorization
At time of pick up you will be required to leave a deposit to cover the value of the insurance excess. Usually it takes the form of an amount (minimum: Excess+Fuel+Tax) being blocked on an international credit card in the name of the primary driver (cash deposits, maestro, switch visa electron and debit cards are not accepted).
The blocked amount will be released in full after 15-20 business days after returning the rented vehicle if the vehicle is returned in the same condition as rented.
Please note due to the foreign exchange rate and other possible banking charges the customer will have to take responsibility for the possible expenses involved when the deposit/excess is charged/refund.
Full-tank is not a must. Renter returns the tank with the pick-up level.
No refunds for unused fuel are given.
Cross Border Policy
For the rentals in Turkey, cross border is not allowed.
Free cancellation for 48 hours after reservation, NO cancellations are allowed after the pick-up date and time.
Customer Service Queries
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspects of your rental, you must report your concerns at the time locally to the car rental company. If you are still not happy and wish to make a formal complaint, all complaints also after rental was finished, you must be put in writing to our customer services team at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will make investigation on your behalf. You will receive an acknowledgement of your email within a few days and we endeavor to answer all customer service queries within 7 days of receiving them. Sometimes we can experience delays, if we are dealing with third parties.
Additional equipment requested at time of booking or purchased locally:
Additional driver: 100 tl per day. (tax inluded)
Child seat: 30 tl per day. (tax inluded)
Snow Chains: 20 tl per day. (tax inluded)
Navigation System (GPS): 35 tl per day. (tax inluded)
Please note additional equipment such as child seat, GPS, snow chains etc are all on request and subject to availability. They will be charged for locally and may be subject to airport fees and local taxes as applicable.
MARTI Cars cannot guarantee the availability of any extras.
Cancellation and no-show policy
What is the cancellation policy for fully prepaid or part-paid bookings?
If you cancel 48 hours prior to your pick up, you will only be charged 20 EUR as administration fee and you will be refunded the rest of the amount.
If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, you'll receive a refund minus 50 EUR for fully prepaid bookings.
If your online payment is less than 50 EUR, no refund will be made for your car hire booking.
Amending your booking or cancelling optional extras may not be possible less than 24 hours before pick up.
What is a no-show?
A 'no-show' occurs for the following reasons:
You didn't inform us about your cancellation prior to your pick-up date.
You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.
You failed to provide the documentation that's required to pick up the car.
You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver's name with enough available funds on it.
In the event of any of the above, no refunds will be made to you.
The car hire company reserves the right to refuse a car if you fail to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit.
Client may cancel according to our cancellation policy and may get refund.
Our cancellation policy
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your rental, MARTI Cars will levy a charge for the cancellation of your booking prior to your collection date (see below).
No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, for late collections, for no shows or for cancellations made after the rental start date.
All cancellations must be made in writing, mailed to email@example.com or faxed to +902125990707 and will take effect from the date received by MARTI Cars . We do not accept cancellation by telephone. Cancellation charges are :
7 or more days before start date, € 25.
6-3 days before start date 40%
2-0 days before start date 70%
MARTI policy for protection of information
We request your name, phone number and e-mail address from you. These information help us to process your reservation, to contact with you in case you have any problem regarding your requests, or to submit the electronic confirmation of your reservation.
Which information are collected by MARTI?
IP Address: We record your IP address when you visit our website. This address only identifies your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and does not contain any information about you. We use this data in order to monitor the traffic source of our website in a better way.
How does MARTI protect your information?
If information, such as credit card details, etc., which require security, are needed, we use an encryption technology, called Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
In case you participate to any competition in our website, we will ask for your certain personal data in order to notify you in case of necessity. Since the conditions or rules of each competition or promotion may change, these conditions or rules will be announced during the competition/promotion. If an award is going to be given through third parties, such data will be shared with them to distribute the awards.

It is necessary that all related documents must be provided.

It is also mandatory to apply an amount of deposit to credit cards of customers.
Reservation number or booking confirmation email.
Passport or a valid identity card.
Only the passport would be enough, but in any case, we strongly recommend you to have another valid identity card.
When you arrive at our local office, the vehicle will be ready to rent. Our first priority is to consider all possible outcomes to ensure that all our vehicles are prepared to rent regarding mechanical, technological and comfort. If you believe that these standards couldn’t be met, please inform the person that is in charge of rental.
Before you pick up your vehicle, we kindly request you to check your car carefully and, if there is any scratch or damage that was not written in the agreement, please do contact person in charge to rewrite the agreement. Otherwise, you might be responsible for damages that are not written on the agreement.
